Publication retraction	Signed publications are intentionally permanent. There is no protocol mechanism to retract or delete a publication once replicated. This is deliberate: the PoS value depends on permanence.
Comment federation	Comments are local to the hosting node. Cross-node comment protocols are not defined.
Node discovery	No protocol mechanism for finding unknown nodes. Discovery is out-of-band.
Private or encrypted content	EWP is a public content protocol. Access-controlled content is not defined.
Content moderation	Moderation is the responsibility of each node operator. The protocol is neutral.
On-chain interactions	EWP operates entirely off-chain. NFT minting, on-chain anchoring, and smart contract interactions are outside the boundary.
Rate limiting	Implementations are responsible for their own rate limiting strategy.
Maximum field sizes	Implementations MAY define their own size limits.
Clock synchronization	Implementations SHOULD use accurate system clocks (e.g., NTP). Specific mechanisms are not mandated.
